About our Origins

The brainchild of Chief Flavour Maker Anna Robertson with the help of Business Boffin Tove de Chazal Gant, Gorse & Lily’s mission is to share their love of botanical jams and spread a little joy… on a scone, croissant, toast, cheese or even in a cheeky glass of prosecco!

 

Our jams are truly homemade, being concocted in Anna’s kitchen in a medieval farm house on the Island of Jersey, using only local produce – much of it from her own garden!

 

Our Ethos

At Gorse and Lily we value the environment from foraging fruits and growing our own botanicals to recycling jars and packaging materials.

We encourage our customers to return their empty jars for recycling and receive a free taster jar in return.

All our jars are ordered from a manufacturer in England who delivers our jars wrapped in tissue paper and in cardboard box. NO PLASTIC! All the tissue paper and cardboard then gets donated to a local artist Rocque Paper Scissors, who then makes it into homemade paper and paper art. Our gift tags are ordered from this artist so effectively our giftware is made from the jar packaging! Amazing isn't it!
